Community Development Challenge Call
The Origin Research and Innovation invites the registered solvers to submit proposals of problems that can be solved on Origin platform.
In keeping with the concept of Origin, the problem once solved should impact a large number of people, in the first place where the problem is, and further have the potential for replication in other places across Africa.The problem should speak to the attainment of one or more of the 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
The competition is open only to solvers who are students and/or youth, viz., less than 35 years old.
Award for each of the five best ideas
- Origin Research and Innovations Labs certificate of achievement.
- Cash reward of US$200.
You should describe a problem in not more than two typed pages, hence in less than 900 words as specified in the call details. The competition is open from 1 December 2023 to end of the day 26 February 2024. The winners will be announced on 11 March, 2024.
